Dear principals, mentors, children and students!
We invite you to participate in the 4th Ecological Competition:
MY, YOUR, OUR PLANET: WASTE – THE VIRUS OF THE PLANET.

Waste is one of the major problems of our time, as billions of tons of waste are produced every year. Their quantity is growing rapidly, and so is their impact on our planet. Almost every object we use ends up being waste – plastic, glass, metals, paper, organic materials and many other materials accumulate in our bins, landfills and, unfortunately, in nature.

People are often unaware of the huge impact waste has on the environment when too many harmful substances end up in nature. This threatens many types of living things, including plants, animals, and even microorganisms.

Plastics, which decompose very slowly, are one of the major challenges, as they can cause damage to ecosystems and long-term pollution.

It is important that we start working towards more responsible waste management. By reducing, reusing and recycling waste, we can make a significant contribution to reducing its impact on our planet. So, let’s think about how each of us can contribute to reducing the amount of waste we generate and thus preserve the environment for future generations.

We invite you to think about the issue and share your view with us in one of the following areas:

1. LITERARY COMPETITION: various texts (poems, experimental writing, fantasy writing, dramatic texts) on the theme of waste – the virus of the planet.
2. ART COMPETITION: paintings or drawings that highlight the problem of waste and its impact on the environment.
Kindergarten children from the age of four onwards, all primary school pupils (including OŠPP and special VIZ programmes) can participate. A student can only participate with one project. Each student can participate with one project in each of the categories.

Uniqueness of the project: The project is uniqe and shows one’s own thinking and imagination.
Aesthetic impression of the project: The project is made carefully, precisely, aesthetically.
